| MIDDLE GEORGIA JUNIOR RODEO ASSOCIATION |
| The Middle Georgia Junior Rodeo Association prepares children for rodeo competition at the high school and collegiate levels. We promote good sportsmanship, fair competition and family oriented activities. Membership is open to families with children less than 15 years old (September 1st) who are not in or eligible for high school. Listed below are the age divisions and events we have to offer. |
| PeeWee- under 7 years old Junior- 7 through 11 Senior- 12 through 14 (or 8th grade) |
| Events offered: PeeWee (Girls and Boys) up to 7 years old Mutton Bustin', Goat Tying, Dummy Roping and Barrel Racing Juniors (Girls and Boys) 7 to 11 years old Barrel Racing, Team Roping, Goat Tying, Breakaway Roping, Pole Bending, Tie Down Calf Roping, Chute Doggin', and Calf Ridding Senior Girls 12 to 14 years old or 8th grade Barrel Racing, Team Roping, Goat Tying, Pole Bending and Breakaway Roping Senior Boys 12 to 14 years old or 8th grade Team Roping, Tie Down Calf Roping, Breakaway Roping, Chute Doggin' and Steer Riding For anyone 9th grade and above please visit the Georgia High School Rodeo website for more information! |
